30 Apr A New Digital Presence for Excell Gray Bruni
Earlier this week, we launched the new website for Excell Gray Bruni, marking a significant step forward in how the business presents itself online.
Like many growing construction companies, EGB had built a strong reputation through the quality of their work. The challenge wasn’t capability, it was how that capability was being communicated digitally.
The Challenge
EGB is a busy, fast-moving business. Their focus is on delivering projects, managing teams and keeping operations running day to day. That’s where their energy should be.
But it also meant there was limited time to:
- Pull together content
- Define messaging
- Structure information for a new website
On top of that, their previous website, which we weren’t involved in, unexpectedly went offline just days before launch. While not ideal, it ended up being a timely reset and a clear signal that it was time for something better.
Our Approach
Rather than placing the burden back on the EGB team, we took a more proactive approach.
We ran a discovery workshop as a focused fact-finding session, bringing together key stakeholders to unpack:
- Services and capabilities
- Project experience
- How the business operates
- What sets them apart
This allowed us to extract the right information without relying on the team to produce large volumes of written content.
From there:
- Our copywriter shaped the messaging and structure
- We produced all photography and video content for the site
- The design and build were developed in parallel
The result was a streamlined process that reduced friction and kept the project moving efficiently.
Collaboration
A big part of the project’s success came down to the people involved.
Kylie was an absolute pleasure to work with. She played a key role in coordinating the internal moving parts, keeping communication clear and ensuring the process stayed on track from start to finish.
The Outcome
The new website represents a clear shift in how EGB shows up digitally.
It now:
- Reflects the scale and quality of their work
- Communicates services and experience more clearly
- Uses strong visual content to bring projects to life
- Provides a platform that can grow with the business
Most importantly, it aligns their digital presence with the standard they already deliver on site.
Final Thoughts
This project is a great example of what can happen when the right process is in place.
EGB didn’t need to slow down their operations or get caught up producing content. By leading the discovery, capturing the right information and producing the assets ourselves, we were able to deliver a complete solution with minimal disruption.
And in a way, the timing of their old site going offline felt like a good omen. It cleared the path for something far more considered, capable and built for where the business is heading.
